Precautions for the adhesive layer of polyethylene anticorrosive tape. When designing the polyethylene anticorrosive tape adhesive layer, it is necessary to be familiar with the influence of each component on the thermoplastic elastomer pressure-sensitive adhesive. A good design solution can not only effectively improve the adhesion of polyethylene anticorrosive tape, but also effectively reduce costs. About the adhesive layer formulation precautions, I compiled some, as follows.
(1) Both the tackifier resin compatible with the rubber phase and the softener dissolved in the rubber phase can increase the initial viscosity, while the tackifier resin compatible with the plastic phase is the opposite.
(2) As the tackifier resin compatible with the plastic phase increases, the 180-degree peel strength increases; and as the tackifier resin and softener compatible with the rubber phase increase, it decreases.
(3) Tackifying resin compatible with plastics makes the pressure-sensitive adhesive hard, and the elastic modulus and cohesive strength increase; while the tackifying resin and softener compatible with the rubber phase. Quite the opposite.

(5) The low temperature of the pressure-sensitive adhesive depends on the softening point of the tackifier resin that is compatible with the rubber phase, and it decreases with the decrease in the amount of tackifier resin.
